Factory data · bring your own manuals source
Your manuals, your license: TotalBay does not host, copy, or resell factory repair manuals. Each shop uses the manuals / OEM information service it already subscribes to and enters its own login under Connections.
Verified spec library, built automatically: as work orders come in, TotalBay looks up the torque, fluid, and capacity specs for that vehicle, only confirms a value when independent sources agree, and saves it to your shop spec library — so repeat vehicles get instant, verified answers on the RO.
Optional: shops that want live factory schedules and TSBs can buy their own shop-owned CarData System license (learn more) — your account is yours; TotalBay is not a partner and does not resell it.

How do I get access?
Use Start TotalBay for Stripe Checkout (base + optional add-ons), or request setup by email and we configure your shop manually.
Is TotalBay limited to one region?
No. TotalBay is product software for shops anywhere — not a single local shopfront.
How do customer payments work?
Buying shops use their own Stripe account for customer payments (Keys UI). Platform Stripe on this page bills the shop for TotalBay SaaS — separate from customer invoices. Fastbay (Mike’s shop) keeps Clover for customer pay.
What about warranty and approvals?
Warranty defaults to 12 months / 12,000 miles and is shop-configurable. Customers can digitally sign when they approve an estimate.
Does TotalBay analyze bay photos with AI?
Yes — the system is ready for pics analyzed by AI. Paste your shop’s OpenAI key under Connections. Techs shoot the car; AI notes attach to the work order and show on the customer estimate. Without a key, photos still attach with template notes.
